According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in the first seven months of 2025, our country's total import and export value of trade in goods was 25.7 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%. Among them, exports increased by 7.3% to 15.31 trillion yuan, and imports decreased by 1.6% to 10.39 trillion yuan. In July, imports and exports increased by 6.7% to 3.91 trillion yuan, exports to 2.31 trillion yuan increased by 8%, and imports increased by 4.8% to 1.6 trillion yuan, achieving positive growth for two consecutive months. The main characteristics include: the export of mechanical and electrical products accounted for 60% (an increase of 9.3%), of which the export of integrated circuits increased by 21.8%; Trade with ASEAN increased by 9.4% (accounting for 16.7% of total foreign trade), and the proportion of imports and exports of private enterprises increased to 57.1%. The price of commodity imports increased and fell, and the average import price of iron ore and crude oil fell by more than 10%.
